The Richards Group Food Drive

I grew up in Oakville and have lived in Toronto's east end for years. I'm in the Beach now with my wife, our two-year-old son, two girls on the way, and two dogs.

I've been in business for myself since I was 19 and have owned a few different companies. I worked in construction, then in sales, and got my real estate licence six years ago. I came to The Richards Group for the team environment and for the reputation they've built in the Beach.

Outside of work I love to run. Ultramarathons mostly, which means long early mornings and a lot of time on my feet before the rest of the city is up. I tend to sign up for the distance first and figure out the training after.

The rest of my time goes to getting out of the city with my family. Camping, road trips, whatever adventure fits into a weekend. I've travelled a fair bit internationally and still plan trips further out than most people would call reasonable.

When we're home, weekends are simpler. The boardwalk, Buds for coffee, and Pizza 900 more often than we'd admit.

Construction is the one part of my background that shows up directly in the job. On a walkthrough I can tell you what a renovation will actually cost, and which problems are cosmetic and which aren't.

What I want clients to remember is straightforward. I tell the truth, I do what I said I will, and you never have to chase me.
